Voyager is a 55 ft Steel motor cruiser with 14 comfortable berths. Fully air conditioned, 2 showers, 2 toilets and a bath. Setup to spend long periods of time in remote locations. She has 2 x 4.5 mt Polycraft tenders and 1 x 4.4 mt NAIAD inflatable. Also a large duckboard with handrails close to waterline which makes for very safe and easy access to tenders. The addition of stabilisers has made the vessel more comfortable in rolly anchorages. A 2.5 ton crane on top deck can be used for a multitude of purposes. 2500lt Fresh water capacity plus water maker to produce 1500lt per day. Work to date has been Sport fishing / diving and Island hopping charters, commercial diving / recovery, marine survey work, food and accommodation for remote building sites, mothership for game boats etc. Voyager has all the comforts of home including Coffee machine, Ice maker, Dishwasher, 4 x LCD tv's with DVD players, surround sound, barbecue etc. Cruising at 8 knots is the perfect trolling speed for mackerel / tuna etc. Vessel and crew ( Owner operators) have extensive experience in plying the waters inside GBR north of Cairns, all Torres strait islands and Gulf of Carpentaria. |
